A message from the Scablands President

Hi Scablands Navhda,

Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a happy and safe holiday season! 

As we approach the end of hunting season here in January, there are several things to get excited about with the Scablands NAVHDA!

First, with the start of the new year, it is a great time to join the club and start getting ready for training days and tests!  You can join by visiting our website and following the links there. https://www.scablandsnavhda.com

Second, we have elections coming up for club officer positions.  The positions coming up for election are the following: President, Treasurer, VP of Testing, Training and Volunteer Coordinator.

If you want to nominate someone or nominate yourself for a position, you need to send in the nomination before February 12th. You must be a member of NAVHDA international and Scablands Chapter to hold a position in the chapter. You can email me or with any nominations.

We are planning to transition all monthly meetings to an "all chapter" format, so if you see those meeting invites come out, please join us!  We will have a call on 1/29 to talk through any updates and also talk about positions open for election this year.  We are going to have a follow-up Teams meeting on 2/12 where we will close elections and allow any nominees to speak to the chapter. Voting will be electronic and will close the following day.

We have ran into a couple issues with our spring test, but the team is working through them and we should be able to start taking entries shortly. If anyone has access to water for testing, it would really help our effort.
